Chris was a good friend and had a wealth of knowledge on the fuel distribution industry. Despite initially working for competitor companies, this didn't affect our friendship. Even after retiring from the oil trade he continued to take an interest in it . He was well known and well regarded , always keen to keep up to date with changes in people and businesses working in the trade. I'll miss our discussions and chats . Although his eyesight was failing, his perspicacity was as good as ever . Rest in peace Chris.
